Watch Linda's Journey
Linda shares her own experience of full-arch implant treatment at S3 Dental. Her story is personal; every patient's needs, treatment pathway and outcome are individual.
A patient story, not a promise
Linda's video offers one person's perspective on full-arch implant treatment. It can help you understand the human side of the journey, but it cannot predict whether treatment is suitable for you or what your own result will be.
Your journey begins with a detailed assessment
All-on-X treatment planning considers your remaining teeth, gum health, bone, bite, medical history and ability to maintain a full-arch restoration. Your clinician should also explain reasonable alternatives, which may include keeping suitable teeth, removable dentures or a staged implant approach.
Ask about every stage before deciding
A clear consultation should cover surgery, anaesthesia, provisional and final teeth, healing, eating, cleaning, reviews, likely timescales, fees and what happens if treatment needs to change. Some suitable patients may receive provisional fixed teeth sooner than others; no single pathway applies to everyone.
Long-term care remains essential
Full-arch implant treatment is not maintenance-free. Daily cleaning, professional hygiene, clinical reviews and prompt attention to changes in comfort or function all support the health of the implants and restoration over time.
